Card Making

With the cost of cards going up and never being able to find the right card for the occasion learning to make your own would be a great thing to know. Tara from Scrapping with Tara will guide you through everything you will need to know to create cards that people will treasure. A small material fee of $5-10 paid to the instructor may be required, depending on the project of the week.

Butterfly on a Sunflower

This painting gives us the promise of spring. A lovely sunflower with a butterfly resting on it. You can adjust your design and colors as desired to fit your home or perhaps someone else’s. All painting materials are provided for a $10 fee. Bring a snack and a beverage and have a fun evening.

You will walk away more confident and skilled in creating living characters on a page,

Blue Lake Paint Night

Pink Trees Paint Night

This one night paint and sip style class is intended for people who want a fun and creative evening out. The instructor is fun and easy to follow as she teaches you through creating your own painting. Come alone or invite friends, this is a perfect environment to flex your artistic muscles and have fun! This will be an acrylic painting of pink blossom trees with a cityscape in the background. Feel free to improvise and choose your own colors while the teacher explains the method! Feel free to bring along a coffee or tea, a snack will be provided!

Watercolor Painting After the Masters

Intermediate Watercolor  

Painting After the Masters is a fun new course being offered by Obrianna. It is designed for students who have already had basic experience painting in watercolor. Each week we will learn about a different famous artist and his techniques. Each class we will apply what we have learned about his style and techniques to a painting of our own. Walk away with your very own Turners, Wyeths and Sargents!

Watercolor Paints 

Canson Watercolor Paper 9x12, 140lb

Cup or Jar to hold water

Watercolor brushes

Pallette with enough wells to hold all the student's paints

Pencil

Ruler

Paper towels for cleaning up

A bag to transport to and from class

 

Not required items, but these are helpful and fun to have:

Extra brushes

Board to stretch paper onto and for transportation

Portfolio case or some sort of tote to transport supplies to and from class

Artist Sponges

Scissors

Erasers

Sketch book

Micron Pens for inking and/or signing artwork
