Basic Accounting Principles & QuickBooks

In 3 weeks, learn basic accounting principles and how to apply them to setting up QuickBooks online for a small business or organization. The design of the course is that you’ll attend the class and also do 2-3 hours of work between sessions which greatly enhances your learning. For this workshop, you have the option to receive a yearlong subscription to QB online. Upon registration, the survey provided will provide information about this opportunity. This is a live online class via ZOOM.
Food Preservation Workshops

Ever wonder how to preserve and use all of that great locally-grown produce? University of Maine Cooperative Extension food preservation workshops will teach you the basics of canning and freezing, including how to use pressure canners and water bath canners to preserve pickles, jam, and vegetables. Workshops are taught by UMaine Extension staff and Master Food Preserver Volunteers. All participants will receive a packet of information and a jar of what we make.

This free NDEC course will cover the basics of how to use Apple’s operating system which works on Apple’spopular line of laptops and desktops. This class starts with the basic functions of the MacOSoperating system and how to navigate through folders, files, and menus. Organizing, moving, andsaving files will be covered too.
