TBA For parents of children who have been diagnosed with ASD (Austim Spectrum Disorder) a neurological disorder on the autism spectrum. Find out how to work effectively with your child, to create the most positive learning environment in and outside of school for your child. Then take away strategies for working effectively with your child’s teachers. The course is geared for parents and teachers, but it is also relevant for anyone else interested in understanding this important issue.

Substitute Teacher Training

This fun, three-evening program is designed to prepare those interested in serving as a substitute teacher or ed tech. There will be plenty of hands-on learning that will include important classroom management techniques and teaching strategies. We’ll also cover some legal aspects and help you develop your own “sub pack” of resources, as well as an action plan that will get you started on the right foot! If you’ve been subbing for a while, this is a great opportunity for a refresher and some new ideas. One student comments,”...very engaging with a lot of real life scenarios.
